The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is a result of the historic 1999 unification of South Africa’s Kalahari Gemsbok Park and Botswana’s Gemsbok National Park. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park was officially opened in May 2000, and is therefore the first formally declared transfrontier park in Africa, and one of the most pristine conservation areas on earth and it is larger than Belgium.
This route leads us into a remote area of the Kalahari Desert. You will be one of only a few visitors who will get the chance to see this unique and very beautiful wildlife reserve.
The Mabuasehube Game Reserve is next to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park.
